Fits models: Universal Type-K Thermocouple 6” (8 gauge) is used in most polygon kilns with 2.5”-3” brick. Does not come with thermocuple block. 

Size: 6” metal element with 4” long ceramic insulator tube that is ½” diameter. 

Using it: Type-K Thermocouples read the temperature inside the kiln and communicated with the control board. A 6" Type K thermocouple is a temperature sensor made from two dissimilar metal wires that generates a small voltage to measure kiln temperatures, with the 6-inch length determining how far it extends into the firing chamber.
