Using it: Pilot Relays are typically found in Skutt PK kilns to drive a small signal to the main relays or contactors. Pilot Relays are used to drive a small signal to the main relays or contactors. A pilot relay in an electric kiln acts as an intermediate switch that uses a small control signal to trigger a larger relay, helping safely manage higher electrical loads.

These aftermarket parts have been tested extensively by AKP on Skutt kilns and are high quality at a considerable savings compared to factory parts.
